Bug report: Chat does not work when game quality is changed to low before clicking 'Play'. How to replicate: Load game Put into low quality Click Play Chat area should look like this: (it looks more like an empty grey overlaid box, the picture doesn't really show that) You CAN actually chat (your messages popup on other screens) but you can't see your or anyone else's chat.

I have to agree with Vipname, if there's a way we can make it so after teleporting you're zoomed in again to a sufficient level that you can actually see things at the end of a teleport, that would be great.

How about a pop-up teleport map? There would be a button you'd click to pop up an overlay containing the map, and when you clicked on a teleport target the window would close as you teleported.

I kind of enjoy the ability we have now to pop out and set a path with the mouse before zooming back in - it's useful for trailblazer exploration. I don't think we'd need to make a map overlay really - if the game just was set to zoom back to 50% zoom (or whatever) after a teleport, that would work and not require we create new resources.

Some thoughts:
- New UI looks great! - Client stops responding for a few seconds when quickly zooming out (did not happen pre-Build 46). - Still no reason to kill smaller enemies. Hopefully items (like the protomodule, but with a function) will drop from them in the future. - Augments don't make a noticeable difference to the tank, making them a pointless VP drain (this is old, but I'd like to bring some attention to it, since there's no other way to spend VP after unlocking all the tanks). - After getting 12/12 pulches (not hard, takes around an hour) and unlocking an endgame tank (after clearing 5 sectors once) there's not much left to do. Will we be possibly seeing some sort of events in the future?

Wow, this build is so smooth. My laptop (integrated graphics) stayed above 45fps the entire time. And it feels good.

I had been thought like hypevosa's comment. I think the pop up map for teleporting is useful but it may be not stylish on Grid12 UI. The Maximum telephoto view is great. When I saw it the first time,I felt extraordinary huge SPACE!
We need shortcut key menu like Rotmg or other games. I like longer display time of the chat screen than now. Some people play while reading the chat.

I've been getting some odd lag.
I was playing at 60 fps. Chrome was sucking up a large amount of memory (not an unusual occurrence on my machine - 4gb+ RAM 30gb+ vRAM), so I decided to quit Chrome and start it up again. When I opened Grid again, I got a consistent 20 fps. Switching to low quality did not help.
The driver stayed the same (OpenGL Baseline Constrained).

About the zooming problem...
I don't know where we would put it or anything, but I think a minimap might be a good idea for such an expansive game. Having to zoom out every few minutes is a little repetitive, and I'd like to know my immediate surroundings without having to.

I like how the map works this way (minus any lag problems). When I first played grid I felt like a zoomed-out map was somehow going to transition between one tank and doing some rts based activities. I still feel some simple management involving the towns would be cool and would serve to make grid12 even uniquer (not a word) and also include the cool way the map works. I know this is more of a bug report thread than an idea thread, but I think it would be cool to have minions of our own that constantly fight theirs and the deciding factor would be us tanks (like in moba games, but on a much different scale).
