Hey all, I have an idea for a tank information screen. I thought that this could be a good addition to the game because you can access the tank's info which shows its HP, shield power for each shield, its speed, DPS and dmg, etc. It could also show the tank's abilities. I think the game really needs this so people know what the tank is like rather than buying one without knowing much of its info. and possibly not liking it much. Here is a pic I made showing what it could look like:

Huh, I could support this, as long as it was only activated by a 'info' button next to a 'buy/equip' (depending on whether you had bought the tank or not' button. It could get annoying having to see that screen every time you wanna change tanks. Also, spectre's DPS is over 70 >_>

All of the figures are made up Yeah, I agree with having an 'info' button to avoid the hassle of always having to go to this screen. Thanks for the idea.

Infobutton, yes.
'Ability info' should be actual stats of abilities, not just their word descriptions.

How about a spit screen? A list of tanks on the left, and on the right, a pane with tank info and buttons to augment and to switch to/buy that tank. For fast switching, double-clicking on a tank would allow you to switch to it without moving your mouse. Here's a crappy mockup: "Drive" would be switched to "buy" with the others greyed out if the tank was not yet unlocked. "Hardpoints" would lead to a control screen for modules on that tank.

tarbombThe split screen is an excellent idea, i'll try to create it later today and post it to show you what it might look like in-game. I'll also add to my original pic (adding tabs to switch between tanks and incorporating your ideas) so we can see different styles we could use. Thanks for the idea

Ok, here are the new images. tarbombI had to alter the template for split screen, I didn't have enough room. I hope you still think it works. Note the colour customiser idea in the second template for the artist within

Speed should be measured in Squares per Second, M/H and Km/H have no use here.
Other than that, love it.

What's useful to the PLAYER though is what I think should be shown, which was tiles per second instead.
I also think it's a little strange if all tanks are exactly the same speed, there should be some tanks that are slightly faster than others.
