Massive bug report: For some reason (most likely because of map size tho), every 5 minutes (or whenever I approach a delta), my screen freezes. The chat bar still works fine, my shields move and I can see shields and health go up and down, but everything else is locked into place, forcing me to refresh. Several other people I've talked to are getting this same exact bug, and it really sucks. Not only because it's annoying to refresh every 10 minutes, but also walking away from a quad delta is just painful D:

Mine does that too. Especially if there's a Hurricane around.

The map is simply too big. It's overloading the client and causes lag and screen freezes like mentioned above.

Giving Phantom invincibility as of now would make it overpowered, it has no need for it what so ever, and rarely does it benefit the team. Would you want to give the Fury invincibility? I would assume not, because it is not needed. Invincibility is not "co-op" and more times than not it can actually end up being a detriment to the team IE: Zeta bomb dragging. As for the cloak, letting the Phantom recharge its shields and start doing major damage (taking out minions and the like) isn't co-op? Anyways thanks for taking the time to read my post about tank balance, rob and everyone else, I obviously don't always have the best opinion on things and it is from how I think any of the tank would benefit. I guess we will have to wait for the next build to see if the Phantom needs to be changes, as well as all the other tanks.

Invincibility is not "co-op" and more times than not it can actually end up being a detriment to the team IE: Zeta bomb dragging Invincibility as opposed to cloak doesn't really make it more powerful on its own(in fact it does the opposite, as a cloaked tank can regenerate its shields in the middle of enemies, but an invulnerable tank can't), so if you say there is no co-op aspect, then how can it be overpowered? Btw, the issue with zeta bomb dragging is this. Remember the idea of "someone doing the wrong thing just helps less, but doesn't actually have a negative effect"? Yeah, targeted AoE attacks ruin that.

I just am not seeing why you want invincibility back. I fail to see any reason behind it replacing the cloak. And I also fail to find any situation where it will be more co-op. Though I understand the reasoning behind the cloak not being co-op, but at the same time it allows for the regeneration of it's outer shields, allowing it to tank more. Hopefully I can form a better opinion on the tank once it is released into the wild.

The lag is insane when I am using Hurricane fighting delta's ect, or even when there is a Hurricane around I am lagging.

Kelsoo, not to be rude, but I think you should try playing the Phantom a bit more as it is now. It's a good tank already. Rotate your shields on a delta, on a drill, on a triangulum. It can take some heat.Play it solo, and in a group. Then switch over to the Herc to see the difference between lots of fast regen small shields, and one big slow one. I understand that cloak is good, and invincible is also good, and either one is a good choice for the Phantom. In my opinion at the moment, the defining aspect of the Phantom is the indestructophase... As I've said before, removing it, to me, would be similar to removing the pally's healgun, or removing valk's shotgun, or corsair's shield, or making a fury shoot straight, or making the spectre not be a bitch to aim, or making the hercbomb an overdrive trigger, etc. Giving it a cloak changes the essence of the tank we have now.

I have been playing the Phantom recently yesterday and a bit today to see if anything really changed since I had last played it. I used to use Phantom for everything (just like I used to use Hurricane alot when I first started playing).
I don't think it is quite a good tank in particular right now, it just can't really do much work and I can't find any niche to insert it where it will do particularly well besides being able to last for a while. I tried playing it and comparing it to a Fury for how long it took to solo certain enemies (mainly super tanks) and the difference is staggering. Playing Phantom is all about staying in there for long, waiting to see your health hit low, invinc, then once that wears off shield and repeat.
But playing Fury, it just tore a hole in it, it tanked more than Phantom (with better shields I guess not surprising) but it easily made work of the tank in comparison to the Phantom. Even with only one regen trigger the Fury only had to retreat about twice to regen shields. It took the Phantom several retreats just for the first two super tanks.
But not all the Fury's shields are at 200, only two of them iirc. And that thing can take a beating, and then regen. All four of the Phantoms shields will be at 200, and pulched in a shield region, they could hit close to 400. That's insane, giving you nearly 800 shields on each side. Which is why I think giving it the power to go invincible just won't be needed.
I think with this buff it will change the playstyle of the Phantom to the point where invincibility just isn't needed. But I also think that the Phantom might be a little OP now, so long as it won't be able to hit too hard, it should be fine. I'll hold judgement until I get my hands on it. I think in a way, this buff will change the way it is played, to the point where changing to a cloak is more beneficial to its play.

If you keep attempting to zoom in or out it will unfreeze at a high or low zoom level, but you will not be able to access the middle zoom level until you refresh. Was not sure exactly how to word that so I described as best as I could.

There is a bug when my internet crashed it says I'm still logged in. I'm not sure if this is a known problem or not but I'm still posting this just in case.

I think the freezes are due to the size of the map. I'm planning to work on this. Should we declare victory on the current map and start again?
