Recently, new players have joined the game, and when I /goto the player, he or she rages at me and tells me to clear off and to not follow them on their quest. They tell me I have to find a new area to go and when I tell them xp is shared they do not understand. Perhaps this could be more clear for beginners?

Put a line in the tutorial that says something like "There is never a penalty for playing with others".

LordMyron,
We have worked very hard to ensure that (as Cardz notes) it's always better to play with others. We have not worked very hard AT ALL on making sure that newbies understand the game. This is because the rules keep changing! Someday we'll fix that. Perhaps a tips system? Like, a message that pops up on your screen when you join, giving a helpful hint? That you can turn off once you've seen them all?

For example, when you come across a situation such as a loot bag, a message appears saying "Work with others to kill enemies! Its easier and everyone gets the reward! |
