Hey folks,
Just a reminder...closed alpha is not the time to cheat or hack Grid12. It's beyond trivial to do at this point. Later, when we have the anti-cheat systems in, you'll be free to try to cheat.
In the meantime, please report all cheaters and hackers. Also, remind them of this policy and ask them to stop.
If cheating and hacking becomes a problem, we may need to modify the invite code system, but I'd prefer not to do that.
Thanks for the help! Rob

Can we post here any exploits we find, that can be reproduced without having to hack into the game?
Also, is using a keyboard remapper (like an autohotkey script) considered cheating? I reorganized my input controls to something more efficient/comfortable to me than the default keyboard layout.

Go ahead and post exploits that don't require a hack. We want to find and fix these.
Keyboard remapping is fine.

Exploit:
All Triggers reset if the player relogs (refreshes the screen). This could be particularly efficient at convoy hunting in at least 2 ways: - one player keeps trailing the convoy, the other one uses up all the triggers, then relogs, then uses up again, etc. Can potentially whittle down the convoy fast, with more people around it's even faster. - about 3 avengers might be able to perma-stunlock convoys if they relog and use their triggers in a circular way...

I already abuse the trigger reset for convoys when alone gingi, I brought it up many builds ago when they were looking for such soft resets, but nothing was done, there must be a reason :\

Yes, I remember you posting about this. I just felt the need of re-mentioning it, since one player alone online might not make that much of a difference at map fighting (you have to teleport and travel a lot), whereas now even at 2-3 players this could be a serious boost. Also, as there are a lot of stuff to do, it doesn't hurt to refresh old problems now and then.

I'd prefer the current system of refreshes fully recharging cooldowns. Having to wait for your shields to charge when switching tanks is a real annoyance; since refreshing takes a while (due to loading lag) and even well-organized teams don't bother waiting for other people to come back before playing, the load issue shouldn't unbalance the game too negatively.

it's mainly an efficient boost when there's too few people on to do things anyways, but it would be a great advantage to someone if they live close to the servers
