Are we getting one flying tank? It would be nice to have one flying tank that's focused on mobility rather than raw power or defense.

We had always planned to add flying vehicles, but we kept getting sidetracked on other things. At this point its unclear whether we even want to any more.

I definitely see the place for more tanks, or at least more customizations. As is, there's not enough variety in the tanks we have now to maintain long-term playability for players who've hit endgame.

The main advantage I'd see to having flying tanks would be the option of strafing targets instead of running in circles. It would allow for more interesting fixed gun and limited shield configurations without destroying the viability of the tank.
ACTUALLY - if the scorpion was a flying tank, that would have definitely made it alot more viable to me. Despite one shield and a fixed shotgun, if you could strafe with it life would be alot better.
