Okay, so the current map looks a bit messed up, but in reality it is not that much. The convoy drops will be made better so there will be some incentive to begin to clear stuff again. For those wondering, a clear "lane" is an empty space that has about 3-4 towers cleaned up in a line; an ample enough space to trail convoys relatively undisturbed. I'd kindly ask people not to explore the map further, rather spend the time on either clearing lanes or entire sectors. If you are unsure where to clear for a lane, here are some tips, these are the most frequented ones now: (Assuming top is NORTH) North: Henyey - Hus Henyey - Darwin Convoys starting from the north tend to choose these two paths, would be nice to get them clean soon. North-East: Tau Town - Hus: kind of a lot to do, but maybe there is a city inbetween, also hogs a lot of the northern traffic. East: Tau Town - Celestia could use some more cleaning Celestia - Amalia, would be a bit more work, but is taken often too. South-East: Etheridgea - Mauritia could use some clearing on the eastern side Mauritia - Amalia South: Saskia - Fulvia - Paeonia City - Polyxeba - Etheridgea, this could use some clearing on the eastern side, good trailing lane anyway South-West: Psyche - Philoctetes - Paeonia City Hedvig - Port Kaplan - Fulvia West: An almost perfect vertical line between Bengt - Tomyris - Psyche North-West: Bengt - Bohrmann Outpost a bit less frequent one: Locarno Base - Bohrmann Outpost
I'm fully aware that the map will eventually reset or people will keep finding towns that will alter these paths. Still, if you have nothing better to do...

This is the sort of planning and cooperation I'd like to encourage. It's a shame that the current mechanisms require you to say "please don't explore further". I'd like exploration and convoy hunting to help each other, not work at cross purposes.
