Yes, this thread might seem a little...abridged in its explanation, but I did link Tar's Grid12 for dummies, and in my defence I fully and painstakingly explained grid twice, only to have the forums eat my wall of text both times :/. I'll keep adding to both this and the on-forum archive as well though.
