Hello Brave Testers!
We just pushed build 75:
* Add Escape Flotilla * Fix some bad module bonuses (thanks Zub) * Update on-join message and /help
Each region has three escape flotilla warp zones, which players must discover. Each of these warp zones will spawn a flotilla sometime in the second half of the region's lifetime (50-95%). The flotillas try to fly away from Origin until they reach enemy territory. Kill them for loot.
Tim's working on a new level 20 tank for next week, the Thunderbolt. Although it might change, we want to share the current design. The tank has two different modes: long range sniper (Hornet-like) and short range brawler (Phantom-like). The first trigger switches between the modes. The other triggers (weapon overdrive, shield recharge, mine toss) act differently depending on the mode.
I continue to spend much of my time implementing user-invisible anti-cheat mechanisms in preparation for getting rid of invite codes. It's not fun but it has to be done.
Please let us know of any bug you find. Also please post comments, suggestions and gripes. We really appreciate your help!

Movement is very jumpy... I had lag before but I would still move as expected. I'd guess that this has something to do with user-invisble anti-cheat mechanisms. Probably something moving serverside that was previously clientside to prevent client editing and such...
I don't cheat, but I realize people do (or will eventually), can we have decent performance on slow computers AND anti-cheat mechanisms please?

Ahhh this means the whole place reset, okay new plan, anyway in two days I'll be seeing this flotilla. THIS HAD BETTER BE GOOD ROB AND TIM!

I am noticing the jumpiness on my old XP machine. It seems to get worse when there are lots of things onscreen, even though I'm getting 20 FPS. Who else is seeing this?

Hey everyone, I just found out something weird about the tutorial. The enemies that come right before the fortress in the tutorial move towards you, but if you don't kill them they drive backward and don't stop. The sprite moves, but the hitbox stays. I know because I killed it when the sprite wasn't there. Sometimes the sprite comes back like rubberband lag, but the fortress minions dont rubberband at all while the 3 enemies in front lag. Though this is hard to notice if you kill all 3 really quick. Just saiyin.
(Also when you recieve the shields you get all the augs and mods and lvl that is on your silver along with the shield, but I dont think that is a bug)

Idea of the flotilla is pretty cool though I haven't experienced any myself yet.
