So I played for the first time ever today, I have to say I am very impressed.
I have a few questions about the game.
There seems to be no gradient from difficult enemy bases from easy enemy bases, and if there Is a gradient how does it work?
The game has been in testing for a year, are there any plans to push the game into public?
How do augments work, or how do you level the stats of your tank?
Is there any plans in the future for a friends system, or any other social enhancements like a clan, or guild.?

Tarbomb's (a.k.a. David) For dummies page answers many of these. Above as 'grid12 for dummies' next to play.

Yes I found that. But I will leave in the questions it didn't answer.

1. Fortresses (enemy bases) are random, unless you come across the maze region.
2. No idea
3. If you don't understand how augments work, then you don't understand melding or any of that which is explained in Tarbomb's guide.
4. Why would there be a need for those things?

We are tentatively planning some newbie/training zones, and we've just started exploring making regions differ a lot more. We plan to remove the invite code requirement once we get some anti-cheat code working. This is taking a while, but we are actively working on it. Augments give you at half-percent boost per augment level. They are per-tank. You can also improve a tank by installing modules. Module slots start to unlock at level 15. We'd love to get a friend/clan system going, but we'll need to open up the game to more people first, so it's not a priority yet. Rob
