Update 2014-02-28: huge thanks to Trapped for rewriting the page from the ground up! I've created a little site containing a grid12 play page (with the game window centered, and forum link opening in new tab) and moved all my grid12 info there. The site is located at grid12.tk. Here's a screenshot: Right now, the main thing I want to do is to add a light/dark background toggle to the site. Done as of 13 January. If you have any suggestions for improvement, post here. If you want to do the changes yourself, you can fork the repo and send pull requests - the github url is github.com/grid12/grid12.github.io. Thanks to BMJ, amitp, and odin for the HTML help, and these folks for feedback: - Kelsoo (pointed out scrolling bug) - Ood (suggested tank stats link)

TB To be honest, the wiki is unlikely to go anywhere, you're better off linking to Amit's tank stats page, last I checked it even has drop rates now. The only 'major' thing that is missing is range which I'm sure, if persuaded, Amit could add.

Ood: The wiki link leads to a new github wiki where I'm storing the dummies guide now. I'm planning on upgrading and expanding it there - github's editing is much more easy to use than wikia's, and I don't have to log in to include images (and it doesn't open a stupid popup whenever you try to leave the page). If you're fine with it I can start importing and updating stuff from the current wiki.
Thanks for the suggestion about tanks stats - I'll definitely put in a link.

Go for it! I think most people's problems with wikia are because they don't like clicking enough (I've edited lots and put up some pictures even without being logged in), but that's fine. If you're going to start your own, by all means. Tank stats definitely deserves a spot on the list though. I am still having trouble playing the game on some computers, unfortunately (I didn't think it would) your new setup doesn't change anything. Perhaps I'll try posting in build thread some more info.

I'm happy to work on scripts to export the tank and any other stats in a format that's usable for this. The Viewer has all the raw data but no commentary or strategy or guides, so ideally we'd take what it has an integrate it into something more wiki-like, in some semi-automated way.

Amitp: thanks!
Since the wiki is actually a git repo you can have the scripts automatically push to the wiki.

Was it really necessary to take the "grid12" username on GitHub?

Necrobump. Also, tarbomb, editing a thread doesn't bump it afaik.
