When I try to play the game, I get a green circle and my FPS. My internet has a lot of blocked ports right now, so I'm wondering what ports are needed to play Grid12. Thanks!

It's over 9000! Is there a server address we can ping to see if the server is up?

The server is up now. Ping wouldn't have helped as the machine wasn't dead; the server program was. The best recommendation I can make is to just try to connect via grid12.com.

The best way to check if the server is online is the one Rob suggested. However, if you needed it for automatic checking (something like a status service), the only way to actually check if it's up is trying to connect to it (not going to post the IP of the AmazonAws server, ask Rob or get it yourself by sniffing the client's connections at port 9001), and if you receive an error like "connection refused" or "host unreachable" then you can't play. If you were wondering, the port 843 is used by the Flash player cross-domain policy to allow it to connect when displayed in a domain different than the server's (like, for example, grid12.com).
