Explain why and in what situations do you like the tanks you selected most.
1) Tank 2) Where? 3) Why?

I prefer the thunderbolt for general clearing work and subcoms - it's the only tank that can easily tear down small structures in two or three shots (and has a good chance of hitting them, too, since its gun is an "aimable" forward-firing one) while possessing a defense against being swarmed by minions.

1. Minotaur 2. Anywhere that deals with fighting land based enemies 3. Minotaur can wipe out land towers with ease, has an invulnerability trigger, good damage triggers, and a frontal shield repair trigger. its a good combination of damage/survivability for someone like me who is not overly cautious.
1. Cutlass 2. Anywhere that deals with fighting air based enemies 3. Cutlass is good for voys/patrols. The nerf did hurt the cutlass quite a bit, but it can still get in enough damage to make it viable. basic strategy is to cloak, use 2+3 trigger then when your running away use 1 to repair your shields if needed.

Answer for the current build: 1) Tank - Vindicator 2) Where? - Any place where there are city tiles. 3) Why? - "/drive vin" command lowers shields to exploit the first trigger. If you want to know more about the vindicator read this lengthy breakdown. Vindicator used in this way can kill all Patrol minions in one burst and it's cooldown is sufficient to kill them all again when they respawn. A fully modded, no-shield burst does 1350 dmg (900 + 50%). and is enough to destroy two small enemy towers with one shot if you're in the square directly between them. That being said, it's clearly not balanced and will no doubt either need tweaks in its own right or the tank switching mechanics will. Answer for non-exploitative playing: 1) Tank - Minotaur 2) Where? - Subcoms, general clearing, solo/duo walls, and region bosses. 3) Why? - It's a very useful, all-around tank with good survivability and good dps. The invincibility trigger is great if you get taken off guard by high-power enemies or need to collect loot during a Zeta. Also, it's main cannon does not shoot flying enemies, so it's a great option when you only want to kill a tower and ignore any flying minions (x35 *cough*).

Easy; Pally, Dragon, Cutty, Kraken are all sub-par or just bad in general tanks. Dragon is alright but literally useless without the first trigger, when it becomes decent.
1. Guardian 2. Anywhere but convoys. 3. One of the best support tanks, definitely the best healer, and unmatched single target DPS.
4. Scorpion. 5.Clearing, sometimes endgame etc. 6. Nodeath.jpg

I would vote, but out of these I only have scorpion... Seems unfair to the other tanks when I haven't even tried them. <insert sad face>

Why only high level tanks?
Sorry but that's kind of dumb.

Why only high level tanks? Because I had a few-month-long break from the game. Those are all "new tanks" for me. Also, they should probably be the best since they are hardest to unlock. I believe that many of the testers are more familiar with the lower level tanks. I hope this also help the new beta testers to choose which they want to unlock ASAP.

Well, except for this part. "they should probably be the best since they are hardest to unlock"

To be honest it is mostly true anyways, the best tanks in the game would likely consist of minotaur, thunderbolt, guardian, and scorpion. there are some other high level and low level tanks that are very good as well, but I would not put them on par with the 4 tanks mentioned above.

I believe that many of the testers are more familiar with the lower level tanks. I hope this also help the new beta testers to choose which they want to unlock ASAP. This is my problem with the tank unlocks. Due to the nature of the 'meld' system, the next upgrade is always double, growing exponentially. As a result, the last few upgrades are much harder to obtain than any of the others before them. Normally, this would not be an issue, but as each separate tank is unique, it is very much a gamble when you unlock a new tank, given the work put into it. The solution would be to make sure that the higher 'tier' tanks are a definite upgrade from the lower ones, but this goes against the original goals of having 'limited combat-power awards'. There is only a basic description in the menu and videos do not come close enough to the experience of actually using a tank. My point here is that it is hard to choose a tank to unlock simply because there is such a large chance that the grind to obtain the upgrade will be all for nothing and your time/coins will have been wasted.
