Yes, I'm going to beat the dead horse some more. The game is boring. [/deadhorsebeating] Yes, it's perhaps a bit too much salt on my part, but here it is nonetheless: Idea 1 for removing 'boring' from Grid 12. Let Grid Control Towers 'control' neighboring towers flying minions. - Range of ~2 (or other number) enemy structures (or 20 grid squares).
- Allows for increased movement of flying minions within GCT control area
(flying minions within GCT range will be aggressive to you if you are in GCT range) - Add small damage buff to flying minions within GCT range (0-10%)
If you want a 'why', continue reading. GCTs look and sound a bit like they could be G12 equivalents of real life aircraft control towers. Why not mimic the real-life logistical prowess of aircraft controllers with GCTs and let them effectively increase the range of nearby flying minions. (Sorry scouters, most of the ideas in this series are going to be unfriendly towards you.)

I like this idea a lot! Some other ideas may be:
Security towers generating an electric fence that connects multiple small towers (thereby giving TB a REASON for blink.) Refineries linking up with nearby drills to bring drill minions to support it at 10x their usual speed, no matter how far away. Despoilers (havent seen those in a while tbh) having minion gravity effects which pulls all minions from all nearby towers to it.
