Greetings Brave Testers!
Sorry for the delay on this build. Summer is a time of traveling and playing outside. We don't get as much work done.
Changes include:
* Add squadron speedrun
* Change some overdrive triggers to use a new mechanism
* Make /schat work across multiple games (tutorials, speedruns, overworld, etc)
Speedrun is a squadon vs squadon competition: a dungeon which a five-player team tries to complete as quickly as possible. To start a speedrun, use "/speedrun". Up to four other squadmates may join you by typing "/speedrun" as well. The timer starts when someone drives out of the "starting plus", after which nobody else can join and no tank changes are allowed. Hitting Z or dying sends you back to the overworld; you can't come back to that same speedrun. The run is over when all of the fortresses are destroyed (not redoubts or minions). Successful runs are recorded on the leaderboard. Eventually, we hope to award prizes for speedruns. Maybe we'll switch out the map and give prizes once a week.
We noticed a strange bug in the speedrun: some scorpion missiles weren't hitting the drill station just to the east of the starting plus. If you notice this behavior, let us know.
Overdrives for Guardian, Paladin, Trailblazer, Phantom, Viking and Hornet were reimplemented, and will be slightly different than before. Please let me know if you spot anything egregiously out of balance.
Thanks again for your help in testing Grid12. We are hoping to get squadron HQs working soon!
Rob
