Hello Brave Testers!
Build 107 is now live -- one day late. It contains these changes:
* Add two new speedrun maps * Rotate speedrun maps and clear speedrun stats on Monday mornings * Award a white tile to the speedrun champ each week * Reduce cyan, red & green tile drop rates by about 50% * Add icon graphics to tile placement buttons * Show leader in /swho and /slist output * Add burst graphics when certain duration triggers are active (overdrives, mainly) * Fix tutorial hp glitch
We should now have a working squadron speedrun competition. The prize is a white tile. Display them proudly! We decided to wipe all the old speedrun data, so the first white tile should go out Monday. We'd like to display historic speedrun data, but it's going to be a larger project for sometime in the future.

It'd be cool if A. The rewards were much more, a single white ba- err I mean tile is kind of meh. More would be nice so you could actually decorate. And just tiles are boring. I vote more reward variety.

Yeah.. Right now the HQ's are just a bit plain with tiles and such..

Speedruns in their current form are end game for limited number of players. Limiting rewards to eye candy is the way to go.

And don't make it so you have to grind endless hours to get 3 white tiles or whatever minimal reward, a more reasonable time investment would be nice.

We are definitely working on having more visually interesting tiles in HQs, and we'll be able to replace existing tiles with more visually interesting versions if we decide to do so.
