Greetings Brave Testers!
We just pushed build 112, which includes:
* Add tooltips to items
* Remove item info panes from inventory and crafting screens
* Add installable shield item: Pyxis shield
* Drop tank unlocks on some city levelups
* Reduce convoy boss tank item drops
* Rename "Tank Class Unlock" items to "Tank" items
* Rename "Health Augment" to "Hull Augment"
* Rename "Cooldown Augment" to "RoF Augment"
Our first installable shield drops from subcommanders. Right now you can have only one extra shield installed at a time, and it goes on the outside of all your other shields. The Pyxis has strength of 50, but the strength gets multiplied by the item level, so you can get thick shields if you meld enough. Extra shields are per tank class, and you lose your extra shield when you die. Right now your installed extra shield isn't shown on your tank stats screen, but we plan to add that.
We added some tank drops for leveling cities, to give a way for intermediate solo players to get tanks. To compensate, we reduced drop rates on convoy bosses. As for newbies, I'm hoping that a combination of super easy tutorial dungeons plus open-world player trains should help them stay alive enough. But we'll worry about that later.
I continue to work on adding more anti-cheat code. If you get kicked from the server for no reason, you've probably found a bug in my anti-cheat code. I'd appreciate help finding these (such as last week's Dragon bug--thanks, Renenutet).
As always, thanks for playing!
