Howdy, Brave Testers! Welcome to build 114. Changes include:
* Fix bug concerning Thunderbolts and extra shields * Add snap zoom * Remove town arrows * Show player arrows more often
Snap zoom (space key by default) zooms out 4 zoom levels, then zooms back in when you release the key. It's meant to help laptop users get a good look around without having to mess with Q/E or trackpad zoom. If you already had space bound (to say, teleport to origin) you won't have snap zoom until you bind a key using the wrench menu.
We got rid of town arrows to see if anyone would miss them. Instead we now show up to four blue arrows pointing to nearby players. The players have to be not on your screen, but within three fortresses. We can easily change the number of arrows and the range at which they work, so I'm interested in feedback on this feature. Player names are not shown. But do we really need them?
As always, thanks for your help in testing the game. You are awesome!

How about an option to toggle town/player arrows?(maybe even custom range/number of arrows?)
Personally, I don't much care for them as I check for nearby players and towns by quickly zooming in and out (which the snap zoom has now made even easier - awesome!). So I'd really enjoy a way to further customize (de-clutter, rather) the screen/HUD.
EDIT: Maybe a toggle for the arrow pointing north on follow camera too. Just chucking ideas out there.
Other than that, thanks for sorting out the extra shields on Thunderbolt.
Keep up the good work.

So when is item time reduction on death going away?
You know, that fix that was supposed to stop people who died a few times and lost their good prisms from no longer caring about death since they had nothing to lose. It didn't work out because after 2 deaths you have no items to lose either, but the new tank unlock system seems to completely fix the problem anyway. Yay!
On another note, the installable shields are great.

So this happened the other day:
No idea as to how the convoy got stuck there, but it didn't manage to free itself even after I left it a couple of hours.

I really like the teleporting drop too. Getting killed after a teleport is something even our enemies can suffer from, it seems.
