Had been working on a practical DPS table, finally got around to finishing it. DPS for all tanks on a single fortress: Tank (Level) | Unmodded DPS | Modded DPS | Modded DPS in RoF regions
| Silver (0) | 102.2 | 166.5 | 232.6 | Mustang (1) | 154 | 290.3 | 405.5 | Trailblazer (1) | 0 | 0 | 0 | Avenger (1) | 173 | 261.8 | 365.7 | Phantom (1) | 83 | 135.1 | 188.7 | Predator (1) | 149.1 | 226.3 | 316.1 | Valkyrie (1) | 180.8 | 230.3 | 321.7 | Spectre (1) | 172 | 299.1 | 417.8 | Viking (2) | 165.9 | 208.8 | 255 | Hurricane (2) | 59 | 96.1 | 134.2 | Hornet (2) | 183 | 321 | 448.4 | Hercules (2) | 65.5 | 65.5 | 91.5 | Wolverine (2) | 152.3 | 218.1 | 304.6 | Fury (2) | 114.7 | 214.6 | 299.8 | Corsair (3) | 117.9 | 188.6 | 263.4 | Wildfire (3) | 191.1 | 311.3 | 434.8 | Paladin (3) | 141.5 | 141.5 | 197.7 | Minotaur (3) | 157.2 | 157.2 | 219.6 | Guardian (3) | 162 | 264.1 | 368.9 | Cutlass (4) | 137.6 | 275 | 384.1 | Kraken (4) | 127.8 | 127.8 | 178.5 | Vindicator (4) | 120.6 | 147 | 178.2 | Scorpion (4) | 121.1 | 160.1 | 183.4 | Thunderbolt (5) | 164.1 | 267.3 | 373.4 | Dragon (5) | 112.4 | 160.6 | 181.4 |
This still isn't completely practical, some problems it has: -Assumes you have full pulchs and augments.(In the later parts of the game you'll likely have a Alphadyne/Betadyne Cell active at all times, which will increase DPS even more) -For tanks with overdrive triggers, assumes that you use the trigger the moment it is available. -Doesn't take into account how most modded tanks will only have 20 points.(Which affects Mustang and Scorpion) -Doesn't take into account time spent driving from one fort to the next or the maximum hp a fort has.(Which affects tanks with overdrive for the former and a tank like Guardian for the latter) -Doesn't take into account any triggers besides overdrives, with the exception being trigger tanks.(Vindicator, Scorpion, Dragon) -Overdrive bonuses are all estimated, but they should be mostly accurate. -Doesn't account for minions/structures, which means tanks like Hurricane/Kraken will seem weaker. -Also doesn't account for the damage your tank will be taking, which means a tank like Hornet will be drastically worse when playing. -There might be some error in Viking's DPS due to its reload. It's basically the average DPS you would output on a non-attacking fortress with infinite hp, while not using any triggers besides overdrives.(With the exceptions of the 3 tanks I mentioned above)

A problem is that you have to account for tanks with multiple guns, tanks that rely on triggers or those that have an overdrive. For example, on a pure dps chart, the Mustang does somewhat low damage. One of the main reasons for the tank's current widespread use is the large burst of damage provided by its overdrive trigger, but this is something that can't be shown on a chart.
The same can be said for shields. A chart doesn't take into account layering, positioning or recharge speed/delay. On a table like this, the Avenger appears to have fantastic shields. However, they have an 8 second recharge delay and rotating is less efficient than on some other tanks as each individual shield segment is narrow.
Also, are you going to include augment bonuses?

Yeah I forgot to put that in the column. I'm just doing this for fun to be honest with you but these calculations are going to be really hard for the guns. I think I'm going to leave RoF out of this until I get the damage down.

I found out the equation for RoF and can confirm that the Guardian fully modded and aug'd and prism'd does 240 DPS compared to the Tbolt which does 192 DPS. The Hornet with full everything does 245 DPS, the Cutlass does 466 DPS to voys and 275 DPS with its central gun. The Spectre does 240 DPS maxed out, The Mustang does 235 DPS maxed out, Viking gets 238 DPS (I don't know if RoF effects reload time or not, if it does then this is wrong and I can recalculate, Viking is tricky to calculate), and Valkyrie does 202 DPS. Keep in mind that this is raw DPS, I cannot calculate the DPS with triggers because I don't know what kind of multiplier effect the triggers have. Also, shields and shield placement are key as well. Tanks that fall short in the shield department like Guardian, Viking and Spectre look better on paper for clearing than they really are. The Guardian, although it does 240 DPS, has a single 2500 range cannon that shoots when fully maxed out only 41 times per 60 seconds. This means that if the cannon shoots the wrong target, it will hurt the REAL dps more than if the Mustang's turrets hit the wrong thing when the Mustang has two outer turrets that shoot 4.1 times per second or around 240 times per 60 seconds. The only two tanks that I have talked about in this post that have true, dependent DPS on a single target are the Hornet and the Tbolt. The Hornet has awful shields that are terrible for clearing while the Tbolt has great all-around shields that protect it while clearing. The Cutlass is also a great clearing tank when it comes to wall regions and those pesky red cheerio shooters. While the Cutlass has no triggers to bolster its ability to clear ground units, it still is the best option for clearing independent targets like missile launchers. The best tank for clearing has to be either the Mustang or the Tbolt but the best overall is the Cutlass because it dominates voys and clears better than the Tbolt in many different scenarios. Cutlass is the best DPS tank in the game, bar none. No tanks come close to matching it. End of story.

Keep in mind that I still don't know if the RoF effect reload time for Viking. If it does, Viking could also be in the conversation for sure, even though its shields are weak.

Every calculation would seemingly be correct besides the Viking. I think the Tbolt one is incorrect as well. The trigger (From what I have seen) doubles the fire rate and damage of the Tbolt during its duration. I mean, I could figure this out for you so I will but the Viking one is too low because the Viking has a trigger and it does more DPS even without the trigger that you put on the chart. I'll give you some results from that but otherwise really good work. The triggers is an issue though. Maybe the best way to figure out DPS is do DPT (Damage per Trigger) for overdrive tanks like Mustang, Tbolt, Cutty, Guardian, and on and on and on. Another way would be to just find the total damage output from a tank that uses triggers during the duration of the trigger. EDIT: The trigger only seems to increase damage by 75% and fire rate by 100%. The trigger for the Guardian triples fire rate. I don't have time right to figure out the rest but I'm just taking videos in fraps and then going into video editing software and slowing the video down and finding the time that the shots were taken down to the hundreths.
