My plan is to build a multiplayer demo using (probably) Emscripten and some other new-to-me technologies, then assess whether to flesh the demo out into a new game, or take what I've learned and build a new Grid12 client. I have no idea what the timeframe for the decision will be. so, have you made any progress yet?  |

I have no idea what the timeframe for the decision will be. so, have you made any progress yet? :P Rob's using Emscripten and a bunch of other tech, and he's decided not to work on Grid12, but is exploring the possibilities for a new game. Too early to tell whether there will actually be a new game, or what it might be like. (Remember that Grid12 had 4 people work 1 year to get started, and 3 years to get where it got, and now it's just 1 person so don't expect anything soon) |

I am writing this answer in the hope that the developers will come in and see that there are still people who are waiting for grid12 neither rotmg nor starBreak nor any steambirds.
I have a couple of friends with whom we had a lot of fun in the game (until we found out that the game easily breaks down the Cheat Engine (I think this was the main reason why the game was abandoned)) and we really miss this project, please find time for a long time already a forgotten project .... yet if people remember about it after so many years, it’s talking about something ...

Was looking through emails and was surprised to see signs of life here. There was only 1 dev left for this project and reviving this would require much help. I doubt Grid12 can be revived unless the code becomes open source and people are willing to help. It's cool to see I'm not the only one who remembers this.
