Oh this reminds me that you can lag through buildings and drill stations when you're at 5 FPS.
He just Roomba'd up to a Drill Station and phased through its walls. Not a single care was given that day.

Nooo, my precious panes! What would you guys think if I just got rid of the pane zoom-in on teleport? After all, there are roughly 316 panes on screen at any given time, and teleporting means you gotta fade in/out 316 * 2 of them.

Roomba never even teleported. Not sure what happened to him. I'd be okay with a no-fade teleport. Smoothly makes a transition from one location to the next.

Yea, there will be other visual cues for teleporting and the like anyway.
